In this section I want to share a little more about the process of making each work. I am pleased to record some videos to self-analyze the process from beginning to end in a work, to know how I can improve and allow viewers, that is, you, to access them. In this video you can see the process of making one of my acrylic paintings, this is the experience in my art studio. Follow me on Instagram to see more content like this and give me your opinion at any time, I really appreciate any contribution to continue creating and sharing.
“My paintings are created using layers of color that give depth and a large amount of color nuances. I like to make the figures of the dark stand out through brushstrokes of light and color. I strive to experiment in a combination of different techniques and textures to see what would happen if…?”. Many of these works end up at my house to meditate on them and remember how I achieved “this or that effect” while doing the final works. The paintings created arise from concepts from my own experiences and human emotions, the contemplation of nature and the setbacks of the postmodern world.”
I use reference images of all kinds that are “filtered” by means of a sketch and I end up changing their color and environment completely for the purposes of the final work. I look for inspiration in books by artists that I like to study, which are many and I could not mention one that is better than the others because they are all excellent in their own way and this puzzles me. Art has been for me an encounter with my essence, because when I paint, I meditate on my own life, the mystery of the creation of everything that exists and I understand that the concepts of the macro are reflected in the micro, as if everything arose of the same tree and my consciousness was only a small branch and that everything is an idea that materializes and that has life for the spiritual that transcends everything else.
